Cassidy Best, Language Arts

Course Description: During 8th grade ELA, students will examine text and use information from the text to develop ideas, analyze and make inferences. The students will also learn to use evidence to support their ideas and answers. 

Objectives/Goals/Targets: Students will be able to strengthen their reading skills, writing skills and vocabulary knowledge. Students will understand how to analyze the elements of literature and explore different genres. 

Required Texts Materials and Resources: Most resources will be provided online and/or in paper form. Core novels will also be provided.
